Premiere: Cicala – “Hummingbird”

This morning we’ve got both some news and a brand new single from one of our favorite South Carolina rock bands. Quinn Cicala out of Myrtle Beach is now known as Cicala, and they have a new EP called Outside dropping this Friday, August 24th. To give you a taste of what to expect from the band going forward, we’ve got a single from Outside called “Hummingbird” streaming at the bottom of this post.

Outside was recorded with Matt Tuton at Right or Wrong Recordings here in Charleston. Matt also played a bit on the record, and has been working with Cicala on the full-length album that will be coming down the pipeline in the future. For now, though, we have “Hummingbird” and soon a nice little EP to hold us over.
