Whitehall, Quiet Hollers, and Daddy’s Beemer to Play at The Royal American

The Royal American has gone and booked an awesome lineup yet again. This time it’s Thursday, June 21st with hometown funk rockers Whitehall, Louisville alt-country outfit Quiet Hollers, and of course Clemson (soon to be Charlotte) slack rock band Daddy’s Beemer. All three of these bands are great in their own way, and I strongly recommend not missing this one.

If you’ve spent some time on Extra Chill you’re probably familiar with both Whitehall and Daddy’s Beemer, but if you’ve been sleeping under a rock for the past two years I’ll throw you a nice, easy bone. Whitehall has a single out called “Vacation Home” that has already racked up over 60,000 plays on Spotify. Daddy’s Beemer put out Pucker a few months ago, and if you can believe me, it manages to top their self-titled EP that came out in 2017.

Quiet Hollers is a band that I discovered randomly, but am very glad I did. They’ve played in Charleston several times, and were recently quoted on their Instagram saying, “We fucking love #CharlestonSC”. They’ve even played a few shows outside of Charleston with our pals in SUSTO. Their 2017 album Amen Breaks, as well as their Audiotree live session have gotten some heavy play here at Extra Chill HQ.

By the way, if you want a double dose of Quiet Hollers, they’ll be at the Awendaw Green Barn Jam the night before.

$5 at the door. Starts at 9pm. See you there. More info at the Facebook Event here.
