The Reckoning of The Charleston Pour House will once again stray from their Wednesday night residency and play Party at The Point at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina. This year The Dead at The Point will serve as a Trondossa Festival Pre-Party to gear up for the 4 sets of Widespread Panic, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, and many more.

This year Rusty Cole, Wallace Mullinax, Bobby Hogg, Alan Brisendine, and Dennis Ware will run through 2 sets of Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band tunes. Each member of the band has been coming off a busy Winter gearing up for Summer.

Wallace will be featured as an artist at large at Rooster Walk Festival in VA alongside Marcus King and Billy String, while Rusty has been managing groups through Under The Sea Management. If you didn’t know Alan, he’s been flexing some jam roots whilst playing saxophone with Runaway Gin this past Winter along with sitting in with various GD and JGB cover bands across the South. Dennis Ware sings vocals on a good amount of JGB tunes when he sits in with The Reckoning, Holy City Heaters, and Rose Runners.

Last Monday we stopped by The Pour House to check out Holy City Heaters. Hogg and Ware ran through music from Old and in the Way to the most popular GD standards.

Check out the last recorded set from The Reckoning at The Pour House here. The “Cryptical Envelopment”>”The Other One”>”Cryptical Envelopment”>”They Love Each Other” was pretty neat. Alongside these historic GD sequences, they recently played the famed “After Midnight”>”Eleanor Rigby” from the Kean College 2/28/80 a Wednesday or two ago.

Tickets and information can be found here! See you at The Point.
