Katie Rose – Live at Truphonic Studios (B-Side Sessions)

The newest installment of Taylor Hickman’s B-Side Sessions features local singer-songwriter Katie Rose performing a handful of songs live from West Ashley’s Truphonic Studios. Katie’s impressive singing voice is accompanied by solo piano as she plays several songs that appeared on her live EP I Am, which was released back in November, as well as a few songs that have not yet been officially released.

The I Am EP was recorded over the course of Katie’s tour last April with fellow Charleston band Jump, Little Children. The EP was released on Noisetrade, and you can listen here. Katie also released an EP called Everything Yesterday back in 2016.

In addition to going on tour with Jump, Little Children, Katie also joined them for a sold-out New Year’s Eve show at the Charleston Music Hall. The future is bright for this up-and-coming Charleston musician.
