John Bias – “Woman I Love” (WSBF Live Sessions)

This first John Bias session is one of the more awesome videos that I’ve seen WSBF put out. John, Sam, and Joe donned some crispy white jumpsuits and set up on the roof of Pablo in Clemson, while drummer Sam Cooper stayed grounded in plain clothes. I guess they didn’t think it was safe to put the drums on the roof. Keeping the drums on the ground turned out to be a cool stylistic choice, though, because the way the camera pans from the rooftop to the ground is cool as hell.

With the stage set, John Bias dove into the building psychedelia of “Women I Love” off their late 2017 debut Pandemonium & the Ever-Expanding Inexplicable Sound. This is one for the archives.

John Bias will be at The Royal American this Friday night for an awesome bill alongside the likes of Zach Mexico, ET Anderson, and Art Contest. Consider this a warmup for one of the most unmissable shows to come through Charleston this year.
