Little Bird to Celebrate New EP with Music Farm Show

This Sunday, April 1st, Charleston’s Little Bird will release their new EP, Familiar. To celebrate, the band will host a hometown album release party this Thursday night (3/29) at the Music Farm with fellow Charleston band (and Extra Chill favorite) Rare Creatures and Florida reggae outfit The Ellameno Beat.

Little Bird’s album release show is the first in line for an absolutely stacked weekend at the Music Farm. Turnover, Summer Salt, and Mannequin Pussy will follow on Friday night, and on Saturday there’s another great showcase of South Carolina talent with Whitehall, Public Safety (Charleston to Denver), and Daddy’s Beemer taking the stage.

Little Bird recently dropped the first single off Familiar, a song called “Honey Leak”. The single is ripe with airy vibes and jazzed-out guitars, and should give you an idea of what to expect from the rest of the EP. This will be the third album release from Little Bird, and the first since the band’s move from Annapolis to Charleston. Familiar was recorded at Philadelphia’s Headroom Studios with Shane Woods and Jeff Lucci (Mo Lowda & the Humble).

Tickets to Little Bird, Rare Creatures, and The Ellameno Beat at the Music Farm at $8 at the door, but there is a pre-sale special going on that will get you two tickets for $10. Get your two-for-ten deal here.
