Watch Motel Radio Cover Neil Young’s ‘Unknown Legend’

Motel Radio is an indie rock band from New Orleans that has become an honorary member of the Charleston family. They’ve done tours with The High Divers, and are currently finishing up a winter tour with The Artisanals. My introduction to their sound came from their show with The High Divers at The Royal American almost a year ago. It was a helluva good time, and I know for a fact I wasn’t the only one who became a fan that night.

They had another show at Royal scheduled around the time that Hurricane Irma was wreaking havoc on the East Coast, and unfortunately due to the storm they had to cancel at the last minute. The High Divers and Babe Club were still able to play, and it was still a fun show, but it was a bummer that Motel Radio had to bail.

Hey Motel Radio, if you’re reading this, we’re all waiting for you to come back to Charleston.
