Watch Zack Mexico Play ‘Meric Clanson’ Live in London

Zack Mexico falls into the ever-growing category of bands from outside Charleston that I still love to write about. This psychedelic rock band from North Carolina has played in Charleston and with Charleston bands enough times to be considered part of the family, anyway. Zack Mexico’s show at The Royal American with ET Anderson and Secret Guest back in December of 2016 still stands as one of the best concert experiences I’ve had in this city to date.

Basically what I’m building up to say here is that Zack Mexico is a dope ass band and they truly deserve their recent opportunity to support Future Islands on tour in Europe. The Europe tour was a follow-up to a successful U.S. tour with Future Islands earlier this year. Their three-night run at O2 Academy from November 20-22 was sold out, at a venue with a capacity of around 5000.
