Punks & Hipsters Fundraiser at The Purple Buffalo to Donate All Proceeds to Lowcountry Orphan Relief

On Friday, April 21st The Purple Buffalo will host the first installment of the Punks and Hipsters Fundraiser, featuring performances from rock artists Them Oh’s and Secret Guest (new song “No Buzz” on Scene SC Sampler), as well as hip-hop artists Hippy and Neintu. The result will be a genre crossing that doesn’t happen very often in Charleston’s music scene, but is something that Rambo from Them Oh’s dreams of seeing more often. Doors will open at 9pm, music starts at 10pm and goes until 1:30am.

Tickets to this fine event are just $5 at the door, and all proceeds from the artists will be donated directly to Lowcountry Orphan Relief, a local non-profit that helps to provide goods and services to children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. With donations of food, clothing, and transportation services they have helped over 22,000 children since 2006. Head on down to The Purple Buffalo on Friday, April 21st for a loud night of music and PBR for a good cause. RSVP on Facebook here.
