In light of the sad news of Prince’s passing, I wanted to share this performance of “Purple Rain”, his most popular song. This version drags it out to 13 minutes, including a long 3-minute intro that sounds great. Prince and his music has had a major influence on modern music, and it’s a shame to hear that he’s gone at the young age of 57. At least his music lives on, and will forever. Rock and roll will never die. Thanks for the awesome tunes, Prince. May you rest in peace.
