She Returns From War to Release New Album ‘Mirrored Moon Dance Hall’

Hunter Park of She Returns From War has completed her new full-length album called Mirrored Moon Dance Hall and it is slated for release this May. The album was recorded at Rialto Row with local producer Wolfgang Zimmerman, who has also worked with Band of Horses, SUSTO, Atlas Road Crew, and Futurebirds, to name a very select few.

Mirrored Moon Dance Hall shows Hunter’s poetic lyricism reaching new heights, with stories invoking visions of a dark Southern mindscape laced with a cosmic soundtrack. Where the previous releases from She Returns From War were mostly driven by acoustic guitar, the new record adds layers of sonic depth and shows Hunter exploring a diverse range of musical styles, without losing sight of the folk tendencies where her foundation was built.
