SUSTO Stories Episode Three: I’ll Fly Away ft. BJ Barham
Yesterday, the third installment of WAV’s SUSTO Stories video series was released, this one featuring BJ Barham of American Aquarium. They played a nice rendition of an old gospel song called “I’ll Fly Away”, and recorded it at the Charleston Library Society before their performance. In this installment, BJ and Justin discuss their friendship, and then BJ delves into how he got introduced to SUSTO’s music. He recalls playing the record over and over again while on tour until he and his wife could sing almost every word to every song on the record. That sounds about like my experience with the record, if you minus the wife and the tour. Either way, it’s an awesome album, and just like Mr. Barham, I can’t wait to hear the next one.
